The Justices of the Peace Branch (JP Branch) of the Justice Department has suspended all JPs in the community signing sites for four weeks from 10 January 2022.
With rising numbers of COVID-19 infections predicted to peak in late January/early February, the program has been suspended until at least 7 February to minimise the risk to volunteers.
JPs who may be contacted through the after Hours JP search and who opt to provide services direct to the public are reminded to follow all Queensland Health guidelines.
JPs may also wish to change their online contact details, including opting in or out of the after-hours JP Search.
