SCLA promises night of elegance, intrigue

The Sunshine Coast Law Association will create “a world of mystery and elegance” at its annual Justin Crosby Memorial Gala Dinner on Saturday.

The dinner, to be held at Venue 114, Bokarina, will raise money for a bursary to honour the memory of Justin Crosby for his outstanding legal service to the Sunshine Coast community. The $5000 bursary is open to all first-year Commonwealth supported students enrolled either full time or part time in the University of the Sunshine Coast Bachelor of Laws Program.

Recipient of the 2023 bursary, Chelsea Van Der Steen, will be recognised on the night, and the 2024 SCLA Life Member will be announced.

The SCLA invites attendees to “don their most exquisite mask and attire for a night filled with glamour, music and intrigue” for the dinner, which will be held from 7pm to 11pm. Tickets here.
