International academics will head the line-up of speakers at the Australian and New Zealand Sports Law Association conference in Brisbane in October.
Professor Ulrich Haas, from the University of Zurich in Switzerland, and Professor Maureen Weston, from Pepperdine University in the United States, will deliver the keynote presentations at the conference, at the W Brisbane hotel from 21 to 23 October.
Sessions will cover topics including AI, anti-doping, wagering on sport, legal representation before National Sports Tribunals, and preventing corruption and collusion.
The event will feature an ethics debate on the topic “There is no place in sport for performance enhancing drugs – the House agrees that the Enhanced Games undermines fair play in sport”.
