A body believed to be that of missing Federal Circuit Court judge Guy Andrew has been located in bushland near Brisbane’s Enoggera Reservoir.
Judge Andrew, 55, was reported missing after leaving his home during the early hours of Sunday morning, 4 October. His Toyota Hilux was located on Dillon Road at The Gap around 2pm the same day.
An immediate search was launched, involving police, the State Emergency Service, Australian Defence Force personnel and volunteers from the community, including court staff and members of the legal profession.
The body has yet to be formally identified, and police say that the investigation into the death is ongoing.
Queensland Law Society extends its sympathy to Judge Andrew’s family and those close to him, and also extends thanks to the many volunteers from the profession who assisted in the search.
