Reinke Lawyers, a new small boutique practice focusing on criminal, regulatory, domestic violence, and litigation matters, opened its door in Brisbane this month.
Director Zachary Reinke, who began his legal career in 2013, started the firm with a vision to deliver a style of legal service he says clients are increasingly wanting.
“From what I have seen, there has been a real shift in the consumption of legal services,” Mr Reinke said.
“Clients are becoming more cost and quality conscious. They want clarity regarding fees, and an actual pathway to a resolution. In my view, these are good things but aren’t being adopted quickly enough.
“Ultimately, I looked around and realised that I could deliver better services to my clients, in the way that they wanted, by having my own practice. So that’s what I’ve set out to do.”
Mr Reinke regularly appears in courts throughout Queensland, representing clients charged with offences spanning the full spectrum of criminal law. He also assists clients facing Commonwealth offences, including serious money laundering and drug trafficking matters.
His practice extends to the Commissions of Inquiry, having previously supported clients during the Trade Union Royal Commission.
Mr Reinke is passionate about the regulatory law, advising and representing clients involved in misconduct investigations. His background includes work as an investigator with the Queensland Legal Services Commission.
Since 2024, Mr Reinke has also served on the Queensland Law Society’s Occupational Discipline Committee.
