Firm celebrates three new Associates and two admissions

Gilshenan & Luton has continued to grow its team with Kristian Wan, Joanna McNae and Rachael McKeown joining the firm as Associates.

Mr Wan brings significant experience in criminal and domestic violence law, having developed a strong reputation for his advocacy, analytical skills and client-focused approach.

Since joining the firm, he has worked closely with clients facing complex criminal, disciplinary and regulatory issues.

Ms McNae also joined the firm as an Associate in March 2026 and practises across criminal, regulatory and domestic violence matters. She is known for her practical and thoughtful advice, assisting clients to navigate complex legal challenges with confidence.

Ms McKeown has practised in regulatory and workplace law since joining the firm as an Associate. She brings a thoughtful, solutions-focused approach to her work, supporting clients through complex legal challenges with confidence.

The firm also celebrated the recent admissions of Benedict Findlay and Elisha Perez as solicitors of the Supreme Court of Queensland. They were members of Gilshenan & Luton’s inaugural graduate program.

Throughout their graduate experience, they have gained experience across a range of criminal, regulatory and workplace law matters while developing the practical skills and judgement required of the profession’s next generation of lawyers.

Their admissions mark an important milestone in careers that have been carefully nurtured within the firm, reflecting both their individual dedication and the firm’s commitment to developing talented young practitioners.

Managing Director Callan Lloyd said the appointments and admissions reflected Gilshenan & Luton’s ongoing investment in people and professional development.
