Staying connected

For busy practitioners, keeping up with the latest legal developments can be a real challenge.

As the state’s principal legal information provider and the Queensland Law Society member library, we offer members access to a wide range of innovative online services that help you stay informed and up to date.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, with library premises closed to the public, we are proud that we have been able to maintain all our essential online services. We were pleased to see so many QLS members taking advantage of our research and document delivery services. And the temporary extension of Virtual Legal Library to more solicitors (until 10 July) meant that we were able to support even more legal practitioners during a difficult time.

The library’s Queensland Legal Updater email newsletter is published every Monday and includes a selection of important decisions, new legislation and practice directions, as well as selected articles, speeches, media releases, legal conferences and events.
