John Humphrey has been appointed as the inaugural Chair of Titles Queensland from 8 July 2021.
Mr Humphrey was previously a Partner at Corrs Chambers Westgarth and King & Wood Mallesons focusing on corporate issues, and served as the Executive Dean at the Queensland University of Technology Law Faculty until June 2019.
“I am very pleased to be taking on this new role at Titles Queensland, which has a long and proud history, and continues to play an essential role for the people of Queensland,” he said. “I look forward to assisting the company and its experienced management team in navigating opportunities for future growth and success.”
The appointment of a chair is part of the establishment of a board of directors for the governance of Titles Queensland.
