Queensland practitioners, particularly those practising in family law, are invited to view a free webcast in which Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia (FCFCOA) Chief Justice Will Alstergren explains the structure and processes of the new court.
His Honour is joined by New South Wales Law Society President Juliana Warner, who introduces the webcast and asks a number of questions, including queries submitted by society members.
The new FCFCOA, merging the Federal Circuit Court and Family Court of Australia, commenced operation on Wednesday.
To view the hour-long webcast, practitioners need to register as a guest for the event on the event page of the NSW Law Society. They will then receive an email which allows access to the broadcast.
