McCabes has recently announced two Queensland-based appointments within its insurance division.
Nhu Huynh has joined the firm’s Brisbane office as a Principal.
Nhu Huynh
Nhu practises insurance litigation and acts for insurers and corporate self-insureds in the defence of personal injury and insurance-related claims. Her particular focus areas include public liability, general insurance, catastrophic claims, workers’ compensation claims, professional indemnity, property damage and claims made under the Australian Consumer Law. Nhu has represented clients across a number of industries, including building and construction, retail and hospitality, mining, infrastructure and transport.
Sam Cooper has recently joined McCabes in Brisbane as an Associate.
Sam Cooper
Sam was admitted to the legal profession in 2021 and has managed matters in the Queensland, New South Wales and Victorian jurisdictions. These have included pre-litigated and litigated claims, acting for blue-chip insurers and private clients in personal injury and property damage claims, and general commercial insurance matters. Sam is also a committee member of the Australian Insurance Law Association and volunteers at a local community legal centre.
