Queensland firm MacDonnells Law has announced the promotion of three of its lawyers.
Matthew Bryant
Matthew has been promoted to Director of the firm’s planning and environment practice area. He will help lead a team with extensive experience across all aspects of planning and environment law, including development applications, appeals and applications in the Planning and Environment Court, compliance issues and land use strategic advisory.
Aaron Guilfoyle
Aaron will step into the role of Practice Leader in MacDonnells Law’s WHS, regulatory and prosecutions practice area. He joined the firm in 2022 and has extensive experience in advising clients on regulatory compliance, safety management systems and defending prosecutions. Aaron was formerly Queensland’s WHS Prosecutor and appeared in Australia’s first industrial manslaughter prosecution.
Kayla Sinnott
Kayla has been promoted to Senior Associate within the firm’s commercial practice. She practises in property and succession law, general commercial law, property and business transactions, leasing, wills and estate administration, and estate planning.
