On 21 September 2023, the Executive Committee of the Council of the Queensland Law Society Incorporated (“the Society”) passed resolutions to appoint officers of the Society, jointly and severally, as the Receiver of the trust money and trust records of the law practice, GPC Legal Pty Ltd.
The receiver’s role is to organise the payment of trust money to clients or entitled beneficiaries.
