Patrick Turner has been appointed head of Maurice Blackburn’s Queensland employment and industrial law practice.
Patrick joined Maurice Blackburn in 2014. Last year he was made Principal and recognised in Doyle’s Guide as a leading employment lawyer in Queensland.
In his new role, Patrick will continue to work closely with unions to ensure workers’ rights are protected and enforced. A career highlight has been his involvement in recovering almost $6 million for underpaid 7-Eleven workers.
Patrick takes over from Giri Sivaraman, who was appointed Race Discrimination Commissioner last month.
