Hear the majestic sounds of TLF Creative’s LawchestraQ at two free concerts in Brisbane over the next two months.
The first event in the Bands in Parks series will be Fantasy, Folklore and Frontier at Brisbane City Hall, on Sunday, 30 June, from 2pm to 3pm.
Music will include works from the musical Wicked, the Norwegian folklore of Grieg’s Peer Gynt Suite, and a journey through America’s heartland with Dvorak’s American Suite and Copland’s Appalachian Spring.
There will be afternoon tea, and wine and cheese packs, available to buy.
The second event will be Symphony in the Foothills at Brisbane Botanic Gardens Mt Coot-tha, on Sunday, 21 July, from 2pm to 3pm.
Music will include Anderson’s The Typewriter, bringing to life a forgotten technology through music, and other lively works by Copland and Dvorak.
No bookings are required for either concert.
