Nyst Legal Director Chris Nyst’s new film will be shown at a Gold Coast District Law Association event next month.
The Gold Coast-based lawyer has written a sequel to his 2003 hit Australian film Gettin’ Square, entitled SPIT, which is due to be released in cinemas this week.
As part of the release, Anna Morgan from Take Control Legal and the Gold Coast District Law Association are hosting a private screening of SPIT at Dendy Cinemas, Southport on 2 April 2025 at 6pm for GCDLA members.
Lead actor David Wenham will attend for a Q&A session following the screening with Chris.
Chris is an adjunct professor of law at Griffith University, a past President of the GCDLA, and co-founder of the Griffith University Innocence Project.
The movie was filmed at a variety of locations in Queensland including Toowoomba, Brisbane and the Gold Coast.
