Seller disclosure roadshow filling up

Far North Queensland practitioners have one day left to register for the Queensland Law Society Seller Disclosure Roadshow in Cairns next week.

Seller disclosure reform is set to take effect on 1 August 2025, bringing significant changes for practitioners handling property transactions.

The Seller Disclosure Roadshow will help lawyers gain insights into the impact of these reforms on their practice, the prescribed disclosure forms and the latest updates to REIQ contracts.

The Townsville event on Tuesday, 29 April, is already sold out but there are spaces left for the Cairns presentation on Wednesday, 30 April, at 10am at Rydges Esplanade Resort.

Regional presenters are QLS CEO Matt Dunn and Manager, Legal Policy, Wendy Devine.

This event, with event partner InfoTrack, is open to members, non-members, and support staff (including paralegals and conveyancing personnel) from across Queensland.

A light lunch and refreshments will be provided.

Roadshow participation, in-person or livestream, is worth two CPD points.

The roadshow is also headed to the Gold Coast, Toowoomba, Mackay and the Sunshine Coast.
