The Women Lawyers Association of Queensland welcomed a new committee at its AGM last month.
Downs and South West Queensland Law Association gathered a panel of local practitioners for an Early Career Lawyers Winter Warmer Brunch in Toowoomba.
The practitioner who represented both parties in a conveyancing matter claimed that a $5000 fine and a costs order would lead to “a permanent, lifelong debt trap that cannot be resolved through insolvency”.
