Property and finance lawyer Emile McPhee has joined Hamilton Locke’s Brisbane office as a Partner in its real estate markets team.
Emile has acted on housing developments and operations of all sizes, as well as advising banks, private lenders and developers on property financing.
He is known for his specialisation in social and affordable housing, specialist disability accommodation and retirement living.

Emile is a board member of community housing provider Jacaranda Housing, and has been a member of the QLS Access to Justice and Pro Bono Law Committee for several years.
He is also a member of the Urban Development Institute of Australia’s Queensland Housing Supply & Affordability Committee and the PEXA Queensland Advisory Council.
Before joining Hamilton Locke, Emile practised at McCullough Robertson for more than 12 years.
