RCR Lawyers has reverted to its original name, Rostron Carlyle Lawyers, as the litigation and commercial law firm heads into its 25th year.
The updated brand name reflects the continued leadership of founding partners Greg Rostron and Hamish Carlyle, with the departure of a former named partner.
Managing Partner Greg Rostron said while the name may be evolving, the message was clear: it’s business as usual.
“Rostron Carlyle is a name well-known and well-respected across Queensland’s legal and business communities,” Greg said.
“This return to our roots reflects where the firm is today – focused, established and expanding. We’re proud of our legacy, but even more excited about what’s ahead.”
Rostron Carlyle’s litigation group continues to grow with senior appointments, new team members, and a surge in demand from both long-standing and new clients.
Partner Hamish Carlyle said the firm was seeing clients come back into the fold.
“They recognise the depth of our experience and the no-nonsense approach we’ve always taken,” Hamish said.
“The name might feel familiar – but the capabilities we offer today are stronger than ever.”
The firm is looking forward to a major milestone as 1 July 2026 will mark 25th years in business.
Rostron Carlyle Lawyers will celebrate with a series of events and initiatives to honour its past, thank its clients and showcase its vision for the next chapter.
“Twenty-five years in this industry is no small feat,” Greg said. “It’s a testament to the trust our clients place in us, and to the talented people who have shaped this firm over the years.”
