WGC Lawyers adds five to Cairns team

Cairns-based WGC Lawyers continues to grow with the addition of five new appointments.

Jerry Tucker (Special Counsel) joins the dispute resolution and litigation team working with Managing Director Rhiannon Saunders and Director John Hayward.

Jerry has extensive experience in high-profile class action litigation, with a focus on human rights and indigenous social justice, having worked in this space for more than a decade.

She has worked closely with First Nations clients throughout her career and has a strong network in the community across Queensland and particularly in the Far North.

Laura McMillan (Senior Associate) joins the wills and estates team working with Director Jacqui Lee Long.

Laura was admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland in 2017. She has practised across commercial law and commercial litigation, as well as succession and elder law, where she developed a passion for assisting clients with their estate planning.

Lynette Lyons and Julia Petratos.

Lynette Lyons (Associate) joins the commercial and property law team working with Directors Graham Dutton and Rhys Larsen.

Having previously worked at a local law firm for more than 10 years, Lynette developed experience across a range of practice areas.

Julia Petratos (Associate) joins the family law team working with Director Eddy Lago.

She has a background in family law, wills and estates, and conveyancing.

Trish Clune

Trish Clune (Senior Lawyer) joins the wills and estates team working with Director Jacqui Lee Long.

Having a wealth of legal experience in client advocacy and litigation strategy, Trish brings extensive knowledge to her work. Trish practices in succession and elder law focusing on estate administration and litigation.
