Pippa Colman Family Law will open a dedicated office in Townsville tomorrow, 3 March, expanding into North Queensland as the Sunshine Coast firm approaches its 25-year milestone.
The Townsville office will be led by Senior Associate Nicole Turnbull, who practises across property and parenting matters, including complex financial settlements involving companies and family trusts.
“I am thrilled to be leading the Townsville office and to provide North Queensland families with accessible, specialist family law support,” Ms Turnbull said.
“Our approach is grounded in clarity, preparation and strong advocacy, while recognising that clients are navigating deeply personal circumstances.
“Being based locally means we can offer responsive, practical advice with genuine insight into the Townsville community.”
Ms Turnbull also has significant experience in parenting matters and has previously been appointed as an Independent Children’s Lawyer.
The expansion is particularly meaningful for Director Samantha Bolton, who has longstanding family ties to Townsville.
“Townsville has always been close to my heart,” Ms Bolton, a former Queensland Law Society Councillor, said.
“Having grown up here and with deep family connections to the region, this expansion is both professionally and personally significant.
“It is important to us that regional clients have access to the same strategic, high-quality representation available in metropolitan centres.”
