Mackay District Law Association (MDLA) will encourage meeting and mooting for its members to celebrate Law Week.
Connecting over coffee is the goal for a Law Week Breakfast in the CBD on Wednesday, 20 May. Practitioners of all levels are invited to gather at 9th lane Grind at 8am.
The association is also calling for expressions of interest from newly admitted lawyers and recent graduates for its annual Moot Competition.
The contest will be offered during Law Week, 18-22 May, as an opportunity to build advocacy skills, gain hands-on experience, and network.
