Mr Fettell and his team bring experience advising on employment, workplace health and safety (WHS) and regulatory matters across a broad range of industries. Their addition to the national Employment Relations practice is strongly client-focused, working closely with in-house legal, HR and executive teams to manage risk, respond to critical workplace incidents and deliver practical, commercially aligned outcomes.

Mr Fettell and the team are particularly experienced in advising on complex employment and industrial relations disputes, workplace investigations and regulatory compliance, WHS incident response and prosecutions, enterprise bargaining and workforce strategy, and the management of ill and injured workers, terminations and organisational change.

Mr Fettell said: “Piper Alderman’s strong national platform and its clear investment in growing a market-leading employment relations practice were key factors in my decision to join the firm. I look forward to working with colleagues across the country to support clients as they navigate increasingly complex employment, safety and regulatory challenges.”

Managing Partner James Macdonald said: “Mason’s appointment represents an important step in the expansion of our national employment relations practice. The addition of Mason and his team strengthens the firm’s capability to support our clients through complex workforce and regulatory challenges in key markets across multiple jurisdictions.”
