Penelope Nicholls promoted to Partner as Hamilton Locke expands partnership

Hamilton Locke is launching into the new financial year with five Partner appointments – including one Partner promotion in Brisbane.

New lateral partners include the appointment of the first Head of Tax and two further tax partners, a partner in the real estate team, and the newly promoted Partner in Hamilton Locke Private.

Penelope Nicholls has been appointed as Hamilton Locke Private Partner. She joined the firm in 2022 and is a trusted adviser in all aspects of estate planning, estate administration and estate litigation. She regularly acts for high-net-worth individuals, families, executors and beneficiaries in relation to complex succession and estate matters.

Four Brisbane lawyers have also been promoted: Nicholas Pavouris (funds and financial services) to Special Counsel; and Jasmine Hawkes (funds and financial services), Maddie Morgan (Hamilton Locke Private) and Ramin Beigi (corporate, M&A and private equity) to Senior Associate.
