Practitioners who deal with children should be aware that the Reportable Conduct Scheme came into effect on Wednesday, July 1.
The scheme requires organisations who work with children to investigate and report allegations of abuse, misconduct and neglect by their employees and volunteers.
Established under the Child Safe Organisations Act 2024 (Qld), the scheme is administered by the Queensland Family and Child Commission (QFCC).
