Brisbane-based commercial law firm Mullins Lawyers has strengthened its business services practice with the appointment of intellectual property specialist and registered Trade Marks Attorney Judy Zhu as Special Counsel.
Ms Zhu joins Mullins with extensive experience advising clients on the protection, management and commercialisation of intellectual property across Australia, New Zealand and international markets.
She advises clients across a range of sectors, including technology, retail, manufacturing, mining, construction, real estate, sport, professional services, not-for-profits and government.
Her experience spans both contentious and non-contentious intellectual property matters involving brands, creative works, product designs, emerging technologies, trade secrets, business reputation and other intangible assets that provide organisations with a competitive advantage.
Ms Zhu’s appointment further strengthens Mullins’ ability to provide strategic advice across intellectual property, brand protection, technology, innovation and commercialisation.
Recognised by Doyle’s Guide as an Intellectual Property & TMT Law Rising Star in Queensland, Ms Zhu is also a member of the Intellectual Property Society of Australia and New Zealand.
