The Queensland Public Trustee is encouraging Queenslanders to make sure their will reflects their current circumstances as part of Wills Week 2026.
This year’s theme is Life changes, so should your will, and the focus of the week which runs from 7-13 September.
Research shows that fewer than half of Queenslanders aged 40 to 60 have a will. Of those who don’t, nearly 70 per cent say they intend to make one but haven’t got around to it yet.
During Wills Week, the QPT will also hold a Matters of Trust webinar targeted at community members to spread awareness of wills, enduring power of attorneys and the role of executors.
