Practitioners are invited to the Federal Court’s Fiduciaries in Modern Commerce seminar in Brisbane later this month.
The Honourable Justice James Edelman of the High Court, and former Federal Court judge, will deliver opening remarks at the hour-long event on Thursday, 29 October, at the Harry Gibbs Commonwealth Law Courts Building.
Brisbane barrister Adam Pomerenke will then examine fiduciary law over the life of the Court, significant areas of controversy, and the boundary between commercial self-interest and fiduciary obligations.
The event is the second Commercial & Corporations National Practice Area Seminar in the Court’s 50th Anniversary program.
It will be held from 5.30pm to 6.30pm (AEST) in person in Brisbane and livestreamed.
Register to attend in person here by Friday, 23 October.
