A ceremonial sitting will be held at 9.15am on Monday to farewell Justice Thomas Bradley as he retires as an Appeal Judge.
Justice Bradley will be Queensland’s 28th Governor, succeeding Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young on 1 November.
At this sitting, Judge Nicholas Andreatidis KC and Darlene Skennar KC will also be sworn in as judges of the Supreme Court of Queensland.
Invited guests and practitioners will be shown to their seats on arrival at the Banco Court. Other practitioners are welcome to attend.
If the Banco Court reaches capacity, Court 3 on level 3 will be available as an overflow courtroom from where the ceremony can be viewed.
