The Youth Justice (Electronic Monitoring) Amendment Bill 2025 makes electronic monitoring for children on bail permanent and statewide and can now include children as young as 10.
The Fighting Antisemitism and Keeping Guns out of the Hands of Terrorists and Criminals Amendment Bill 2026 passed State Parliament on 5 March and came into effect on 11 March.
