In last night’s Lawyers Weekly Corporate Counsel Awards, David Durham from Lexon Insurance was announced as the winner of the Accounting and Management Consultancy Lawyer of the Year award.
The Corporate Counsel Awards program recognises the excellence of top-performing in-house legal professionals at a national level.
QLS President Luke Murphy warmly congratulated David and said this award was a testament to David’s dedication and hard work within his practice.
“We offer our sincerest congratulations to David on his achievements, and we also congratulate the Lexon board and management team on this recognition,” he said.
“This award reinforces how hard David and his teamwork to provide world-leading service to our insured members.”
In an interview following his award, David acknowledged the importance of teamwork in this practice.
“I would accept the award on behalf of a proactive and supportive Board, steadfast CEO and my energetic and enthusiastic team,” he said.
“Absent any one of those pieces of the puzzle, we wouldn’t have the outcomes we’ve seen.
So it’s congratulations to all at Lexon!”
