Nyst Legal has announced three promotions.
Jonathan Nyst
Jonathan Nyst, who was promoted to Senior Associate last month, joined the firm in 2011 and focuses on criminal defence and corporate regulatory law, with experience at all levels in the conduct of criminal and civil litigation. He has also acted in major consumer law litigation in the Federal Court.
Natasha Dawson
Natasha Dawson, who was promoted to Associate, has been with the firm since 2012, focusing on criminal defence, traffic, corporate regulatory and family law. Natasha is experienced in all areas of family law, including domestic violence and advising on property settlement matters and parenting disputes, as well as child support, spousal maintenance and financial agreements.
Alex Somers
Alex Somers, who was promoted to Associate, practises in criminal law, dispute resolution and litigation, focusing primarily on state and Commonwealth criminal matters, domestic violence proceedings, traffic law, defamation, and personal injury claims. He regularly appears at sentence hearings, bail applications, and directions hearings in various jurisdictions and state courts.
