Carter Newell has welcomed three new partner appointments and announced a promotion.
Peter Dovolil and Milton Latta have both joined the firm’s insurance team as Partners.
Peter Dovolil
Peter acts for insurers and major corporate clients, and focuses on insurance claims relating to employment, industrial relations and retail. He has extensive experience in personal injuries claims involving labour hire, as well as complex multi-party contractual claims following personal injury on construction and mining sites.
Milton Latta
Milton acts for corporate clients and insurers in the defence of property and fire damage claims, recovery and subrogation and personal injury claims. His engineering and manufacturing experience provides him with an advantage in matters involving product defects, complex property damage claims and workplace injuries.
Jonathon Wood has joined the firm’s corporate team as Partner.
Jonathon Wood
Jonathon has more than 17 years’ transactional and advisory experience with a focus on mergers and acquisitions, restructurings, joint ventures, shareholder arrangements and corporate governance. He has worked with a broad range of clients including ASX listed companies, institutional investors and insurers.
Amy Heselwood has been appointed to Special Counsel – litigation and dispute resolution.
Amy Heselwood
Amy focuses on complex commercial litigation, including shareholder disputes, as well as contractual and property disputes. She acts for a variety of public and private sector clients, frequently involving multi-party disputes in the Supreme Court. Amy also advises clients who have been victims of cybercrime.
