Mahoneys law firm is pleased to announce the following promotions, which took effect on 1 July: Anders Mahoney (litigation) to Senior Associate, Simon Watson (litigation) to Senior Associate, and Holly Dunne (body corporate) to Senior Lawyer.
Anders Mahoney
Anders is a commercial litigator with diverse experience across Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria. He started his legal career at Mahoneys in 2010 and was admitted in 2015. Anders regularly advises individuals, professional advisors and SMEs on commercial disputes, with an expertise in trade suppliers, automotive (wholesale and retail), trade and waste management, resource and mining (exporters and importers).
Simon Watson
Simon is a Senior Associate in the dispute resolution team. He advises on shareholder and director disputes, corporate and insolvency litigation, estate litigation, and body corporate and property litigation. Simon has also advised on and managed a broad range of commercial transactions, including two large international business sales requiring regulatory approvals.
Holly Dunne
After starting her legal career in Canberra, Holly has returned to Queensland to specialise in body corporate law. While her focus is on body corporate law, Holly’s experience includes working on a range of residential and commercial property matters, including off-the-plan developments, retirement village contracts and land rent schemes. Since joining Mahoneys, Holly has advised bodies corporate and lot owners on range of matters, including disputes, within community titles schemes.
