Admissions: RedeMont

RedeMont at the Gold Coast welcomed four newly admitted solicitors last month – Matthew Major, Riana Ullattikulam, Isobel Crowther and Grace Georgilopoulos.


Matthew Major

Matthew is in the Insurance and Risk team and his admission was moved by Jonty Wunsch, RedeMont Associate.

He regularly acts for national insurers and local governments, specialising in public liability and disputes. Matthew draws heavily on his experience gained during his secondment to a local government council and in his previous in-house claims management role with a leading national insurer, specialising in disaster response.


Riana Ullattikulam

Riana is in the Workplace Relations team and her admission was moved by Kerry Gibson, RedeMont Special Counsel.

Riana has experience in a broad spectrum of workplace issues and investigations. Differing from most graduates, Riana has been seconded on two occasions assisting clients on site, most notably to assist with managing enterprise agreement bargaining negotiations.

Before obtaining her Juris Doctor, Riana received a Bachelor of Commerce in Organisational Behaviour and Human Resources from one of the top business schools in Canada.


Isobel Crowther

Isobel is in the Disputes and Regulatory team and her admission was moved by Star Thompson, RedeMont Senior Associate.

Isobel has experience in dispute resolution, primarily assisting government entities with external review proceedings. She also assists corporate clients with broader commercial disputes and enjoys interpreting statutes and investigating decision-making processes from a detailed forensic viewpoint.

Isobel supports Corporate legal teams in handling franchise disputes, particularly when franchisees breach agreements.


Grace Georgilopoulos

Grace is in the Corporate Advisory and Governance and her admission moved was by Karen Dobozy, RedeMont Special Counsel.

Grace has experience working on corporate and commercial matters, primarily focusing on privacy, corporate governance and not-for-profit law.

She assists clients on a range of privacy matters including preparing and reviewing privacy policies and collection notices, assisting with Privacy Officer duties, managing privacy complaints and preparing Privacy Impact Assessment templates and frameworks for implementation in businesses. Grace also assists clients with privacy advice relating to the use of artificial intelligence integrated technologies.

Grace is currently studying to take the Certified Information Practice Manager (CIPM) exam, an internationally recognised standard for privacy professionals offered by the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) and aims to achieve the CIPM qualification by the end of 2024.
