Sport and entertainment infrastructure lawyer Adam Lister has established a boutique legal practice focused on the sport, entertainment, venue and infrastructure sectors.
The new firm opened its doors in April 2026, advising government, venue operators and their suppliers, promoters and investors on high-value transactions, commercial partnerships and infrastructure projects across the live experience sector.
Mr Lister was Group General Counsel of Legends Global (Asia Pacific) for nearly nine years.
During his tenure, he led legal strategy across complex public infrastructure transactions, negotiated directly with government ministries, sovereign wealth funds, and private enterprise, and structured and executed naming rights, partnership rights, ticketing rights, supply rights, and major event contracts across a global venue portfolio.
He also provided strategic counsel on mergers and acquisitions transactions involving private fund investment structures, and advised on regulatory compliance matters before the ACCC and FIRB.
Before taking that role, Mr Lister served as Legal Counsel for ICC Sydney as part of the Darling Harbour Live consortium on the $1.5 billion ICC Sydney PPP project and held positions at Clayton Utz in both its M&A and construction and major projects practices.
He also served as Associate to the Honourable Justice Andrew Greenwood at the Federal Court of Australia.
Before pursuing a career in law, he worked across venue and event operations at some of the region’s most prominent facilities, including Suncorp Stadium and Brisbane Entertainment Centre in Queensland, as well as the Beijing Olympic Basketball Arena during the 2008 Olympic Games.
“The firm is built on the premise that clients in complex, high-stakes environments deserve direct access to senior expertise and not a revolving door of intermediaries,” Mr Lister said.
“After nearly a decade at the coalface of some of the region’s most significant venue and infrastructure transactions, I wanted to build something deliberately focused, where the
quality of advice and the depth of the client relationship are the defining measures of success.”
