Gadens has announced four Partner promotions, including three in Queensland, to reinforce the firm’s continued investment in people and its commitment to building depth across its national platform.
Commenting on the promotions which are effective from 1 July, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Partner Mark Pistilli said: “Gadens is growing with purpose. In the past year, we have expanded our national footprint, re-established our presence in Western Australia and welcomed high calibre lateral partners across key practice areas.
“Our strategy is clear: to lead in our chosen markets and sectors, enable our people to succeed and deliver sustained value for our clients.
“Our people are central to this strategy. We recognise performance and contribution, and this cohort of market leading lawyers brings exceptional capability. I am confident they will make a meaningful and lasting impact.”
The new Brisbane Partners are Sandra Camilleri, Shane Wacker and Tegan Harris.
Ms Camilleri has extensive experience advising on the development, protection, management and enforcement of intellectual property rights, including patent, trade mark, copyright and design matters. She has developed a leading reputation, particularly in patent enforcement and patent litigation matters.
Mr Wacker advises on strategic projects and commercial agreements, with particular expertise in the energy sector. He assists major gas industry participants on complex commercial arrangements and regulatory frameworks. Mr Wacker supports clients across all industries on corporate transactions, including capital raisings, joint venture and shareholder arrangements, and mergers and acquisitions.
Ms Harris is a seasoned litigator with 10 years’ experience in complex, high-stakes disputes across the financial services and government sectors. She is recognised for her expertise in contentious tax matters, regulatory proceedings, and sensitive commercial claims.
Further to the Partner appointments, Gadens has also promoted three Senior Associates and eight Special Counsels, recognising outstanding talent and supporting the firm’s continued growth.
These promotions build on the 12 lateral Partners who have joined Gadens in the past year. There are now more than 120 Partners.
