Holding Redlich has announced the promotion of 17 lawyers across its national offices, including three senior lawyers to partnership.
The promotions, which include five to Special Counsel and nine appointments to Senior Associate, will take effect tomorrow – 1 July 2026.
Emily Ng in the Brisbane office is being promoted to Partner in the construction, infrastructure and projects team. Ms Ng advises major contractors, engineering firms and project owners (including government) on public infrastructure, renewable energy and commercial construction projects.
She has extensive experience acting in court proceedings and other forms of dispute resolution, including arbitrations, expert determinations and security of payment adjudications, and in advising on all aspects of project delivery, including claims management, dispute strategy and commercial settlement.
Ms Ng is recognised in Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in Australia for Construction/Infrastructure Law and Alternative Dispute Resolution (2023–2027) and was named a Construction Law Rising Star in the 2025 Doyle’s Guide.
In addition to the new partners, promotions to Special Counsel include Sally Crane in the Brisbane construction, infrastructure and projects team.
Ms Crane practises in construction and infrastructure law and has extensive experience working in the resources, energy and projects, real estate and government sectors.
She has acted for a range of clients in dispute resolution, ranging from large-scale court proceedings, domestic and international arbitration, through to bespoke alternative dispute resolution mechanisms including expert determination and mediation. She also has extensive experience in acting for both principals and contractors in security of payment adjudications and reviews of adjudication decisions.
Ms Crane has also advised on a number of project delivery models and has assisted developers and contractors with contract drafting, negotiation and administration on projects across Australia.
This year’s promotions reflect Holding Redlich’s continued focus on developing future leaders and investing in capabilities aligned with the firm’s key sectors, including construction, government and property.
