Criminal law firm Rana Lawyers has promoted Tate Ransom to Senior Associate.
Mr Ransom has been with Rana Lawyers for two years and joined as an Associate, having worked in criminal law for several years.
He demonstrates strong advocacy in court while being able to empathise with clients outside of the courtroom.
Mr Ransom has achieved numerous outcomes for clients, from acquittals in serious offences to excellent outcomes in sentences, particularly in matters where custodial sentences are open.
During his time at Rana Lawyers, his practice has expanded from straightforward pleas and summary matters to complex and serious prosecutions, including drug trafficking matters. This breadth of experience has enabled him to develop a strong understanding of criminal litigation and the ability to effectively manage matters at every level of complexity.
While Mr Ransom still works collaboratively with Directors, his promotion is recognition of his increasing responsibility for his files and the confidence the firm has in his work on complex matters independently.
