Brisbane construction and commercial litigation firm Roberts Litigation has appointed Samantha Reay as a Director.
Ms Reay joins from national firm Thomsons, where she acted on major construction projects and disputes across Australia and New Zealand, including front-end advice, security of payment adjudications and defects claims.
“Working on large construction projects has taught me a lot about how disputes arise and how they can be avoided, and I am looking forward to bringing that perspective to Roberts Litigation’s clients,” Ms Reay said.
Director Brodie Roberts said the appointment strengthened the firm’s ability to advise construction industry clients nationally.
“Our clients increasingly want advice that stops disputes before they start, and Samantha’s experience on major construction litigation gives her real insight into getting contracts right from the outset,” Mr Roberts said.
