Downs and South West Queensland Law Association gathered a panel of local practitioners for an Early Career Lawyers Winter Warmer Brunch in Toowoomba.

The Federal Court was asked to scrutinise the use of the word “challenging” in a comment by a tribunal member during a hearing disconnection.
“The respondent’s history indicates that orders which were intended to be educative, and to provide some personal deterrence, have not had their intended effect.”
The breeder claimed she was banned from the 2023 show after she alleged discrimination or unfair targeting of her by the Goat Show Competition Judge and the Chief Show Steward when she exhibited at the 2022 show.
