Practice Note on Workplace Protection Orders

The Federal Court of Australia has published a Commonwealth Workplace Protection Orders Practice Note (CWPO-1).

The note sets out the practice and procedure of the court for the institution and case management of applications made under the Commonwealth Workplace Protection Orders Act 2025 (Cth).

It outlines the types of orders that may be sought, and has been approved alongside Form 140 – Originating application – Commonwealth Workplace Protection Order; and Form 141 – Interlocutory application – Urgent Interim Commonwealth Workplace Protection Order.
