Meet Mark Fenlon

About Mark Fenlon

After working in private practice for seven years, Mark Fenlon became a Senior Prosecutor for the Queensland Police Service, where he has been employed since 2010. Working with solicitors and police officers, Mark saw at first hand the psychological impact of working in a high-volume legal environment where employees are regularly exposed to issues such as domestic violence, assaults, sexual offences and worse. As a result of that he became an accredited peer support officer to assist in getting better outcomes for those colleagues impacted by those issues. He also has a special interest in promoting the interests of regional, rural and remote practitioners and is the Queensland Law Society’s representative to the Law Council of Australia’s Regional, Rural and Remote Lawyers Committee where he chairs the Retention and Recruitment sub-committee. Mark is also the Immediate Past President of the Townsville District Law Association
