Brisbane firm Day Family Law is thrilled to welcome Nicola Goodwin as an Associate.
Nicola completed a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) at the Queensland University of Technology in 2017. She completed her Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice at the College of Law in 2018.

Before joining Day Family Law in 2025, she practised as a solicitor in Brisbane and Central Queensland as a family lawyer. She has also represented clients in domestic violence proceedings, and criminal and traffic offences, in the Queensland Magistrates Court.
Nicola now practices exclusively in family law and has a particular interest in complex parenting matters. This interest stems from her years of experience working alongside an Independent Children’s Lawyer where she gained extensive experience assisting in complex parenting disputes before the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia.
