Land Court of Queensland President Fleur Kingham will deliver next month’s 2020 Pride in Law Annual Address in Brisbane.
The Pride in Law fourth annual address will be held at the Banco Court of Queensland in the QEII Courts of Law Complex, 415 George Street, on Friday 13 November.
The evening will also celebrate the inaugural Pride in Law Award, which recognises those in the legal profession who continue to demonstrate commitment to addressing inclusion for the LGBTIQ+ community while working to advocate for change.
Tickets to the event, which will open at 5.30pm for a 6pm start, are strictly limited. To operate in a COVID-19 safe manner, canapés and beverages will not be served and there will be a COVID-19 safe plan, with guests informed of all measures at the event.
Pride in Law says that, in these unprecedented times, it’s never been more important to connect with your colleagues. In 2019, we learnt that diversity is being invited to the party, while inclusion is being asked to dance, and belonging feels like being accepted at the party. We hope you will be able to come and celebrate this year’s address.
