Phone and online only for Federal Court registry services

The Federal Court has advised that all registries except those in Western Australia have moved to providing services only by phone and online.

There will be no face-to-face services in court registries (except WA), unless otherwise approved by the head of jurisdiction.

A notice posted yesterday by the court says this is a precautionary measure that will help to reduce the need to travel. It says developments will be monitored and arrangements may change at short notice, based on government health advice and restrictions.

Enquiries can be made to 1300 720 980.
