Delay in PC renewals process – due date extended

The new due date for submission of renewals and associated fees, including professional indemnity insurance levies is 17 June 2022.

This follows some delays and issues with a new system being utilised for the 2022-23 practising certificate renewal process.

The new system is different to the previous QLS renewals systems, particularly the requirement to create a new login to myQLS.

For those who are yet to renew, please do the following:

  1. Create a new login to myQLS using the unique email invitation sent to you previously. If you have misplaced this invitation, please advise as soon as possible and they will re-send your invitation. Please note: this invitation is personal to you and you cannot use another person’s invitation to create a login
  2. Once you have logged in to myQLS, click on the ‘Renew your practising certificate’ tile.
  3. If you have difficulty, completing your renewals please contact
  4. If you have queries arising out of your invoice, please contact

The renewals period is a peak time for assistance requests and the support team is working hard to respond to all queries.

QLS has apologised for the delay.
