Tickets are now available for an upcoming LawchestraQ concert ‘Brisbane’s West Side Story’, to be held on Sunday 21 August at Brisbane City Hall at 1pm.

LawchestraQ together with Big Band, both initiatives of The Legal Forecast Creative (TLF), are set to perform pieces from a range of musical genres, including jazz standards, modern movie themes, Bernstein’s West Side Story and Brahms’ Hungarian Dances.

The musical groups are run by volunteers and made up of members of the legal profession and law students. TLF designed the groups to provide a creative outlet for legal professionals and students to express their artistic side in a social environment, whilst also promoting positive mental health in the profession.

Brisbane’s West Side Story is part of the Brisbane City Council ‘Bands in Parks’ program. Admission is free and no bookings are required to attend the event.

TLF Creative is an arts-based group that provides a creative and inclusive space for legal professionals and law students. For more information about TLF initiatives, visit the website.
