ACCC seeks members for consultative committee

The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission Small Business team is seeking expressions of interest for appointment to its Small Business & Franchising Consultative Committee (SBFCC) for a two-year term during 2023 and 2024.

The ACCC has a number of consultative committees, including the SBFCC, that provide advice, information and comment relating to the ACCC’s responsibilities under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010.

The SBFCC was established to help inform the ACCC and gather feedback on issues relating to the small business and franchising sectors, and to share emerging issues or market developments.

The SBFCC is chaired by ACCC Deputy Chair Mick Keogh and meets twice a year (usually May and October), and occasionally at other times to discuss specific issues.
