Finding a balance between mental health and legal practice is a challenge remote lawyer Diane Godfrey knows all too well.
The James Cook University (JCU) alumni will present Law & Mental Health: Remote Insights on Thursday for the university’s Law Seminar Series.
Diane will share her challenges and triumphs from working in diverse areas across the state, including at Mt Isa, Mornington Island, Doomadgee and Burketown, where she represented a variety of clients in the Magistrates, Supreme and District courts.
She will offer practical strategies and wisdom gleaned from her experiences since she was admitted in 2020.
The free seminar will be held online and at JCU Townsville, Bebegu Yumba Campus, Douglas, at 2pm on 1 August. The one-hour presentation is worth 1 CPD point.
